OH MY GOD!!!

I was just doing searches for s***s and giggles and stumbled upon this very interresting news article on steroids in saudi arabia. Not only does it have very wrong info about steroids, but it's obviouse that this "Abdulilah" fellow isn't even a juicer. my comment are in yellow.

Essam Al-GhalibArab NewsSunday, 10, April, 200501, Rabi` al-Awwal, 1426

JEDDAH, 10 April 2005 — An Arab News investigation has revealed that despite a ban imposed by the Ministry of Health on the sale of anabolic steroids, they are still available at some pharmacies. Local clinics will also, with no questions asked, administer them to anyone who has them. In neither case is a prescription required.
Just as camera-equipped mobile phones were illegal yet widely used and available in Saudi Arabia before the ban was lifted, so are anabolic steroids. Illegal in many countries, they are sold and used locally by many — with little or no regard for long-term effects. Widely unregulated in the Middle East, these hormone-altering, growth enhancers became “illegal” in Saudi Arabia two years ago.
A pharmacist at Mondial Pharmacy told Arab News: “Two years ago, the Ministry of Health issued a directive banning the sale of steroids. It has since become harder for people to find them, but they’re still being sold over-the-counter at some places because the directive was never enforced. The price of a 50cc vial of Deca was SR30.” That's one big ass vial. you'll never find one this big for that little money. it must be fake or false info right here. Usually a 2 cc vial of 200 mg/ml deca goes for 20-25 riyals.
According to AnabolicExtreme.com, the Middle East — specifically Egypt, Lebanon, Syria, Jordan, and Saudi Arabia — are places where anabolic steroid sales are unregulated.
“All steroids are over the counter. Additionally, most pharmacy owners are also licensed doctors. For a very small sum, under $10 (for those who live in saudi, you know it's free and it doesn't cost a buck) , you can obtain a valid prescription from a doctor — if you are going to make the purchase at his pharmacy,” reads the website advisory to traveling steroid users.
With no enforcement of the ministry’s ban and little public knowledge of the negative long-term effects of steroids, Deca-Durabolin (the full name of the steroid) is making a comeback as its popularity grows . (bull crap. making a comeback? this drug never faded in the first place)
A doctor at Al-Nahdi Pharmacy told Arab News: “We don’t sell steroids, but they are available over-the-counter without a prescription at many other pharmacies that have either not been notified of the ban or simply don’t care. Not many people know that Deca is still available locally at SR30 for a 50cc vial (again, not that cheap. and it doesn't come in that big of a vial). I think they just assume that they are illegal and buy them through gyms,” he continued.
Abdulilah (not his real name) started going to the gym because he wanted to lose weight. A 21-year-old university student, he felt that he wasn’t big enough (he wanted to lose weight, but he felt that he wasn't begin enough? i won't flame this guy, but i'll just assume he meant not having enough muscle). At the gym he watched as others his age bench-pressed 160 kg. His competitive nature made him want to do the same.
“My buddy had built up a rapport with the trainer who suggested we try steroids (NO TRAINER WOULD EVER SUGGEST STEROID USE!!! you have to go and ask for it). He supplied us with what he said we needed,” he told Arab News.
Abdulilah spent SR1,800 (374 euro) on 24 50mg (mg? of CC?) vials of Deca-Durabolin (he must've been extremely stupid and got ripped the f*** off. cuz a 50 mg/ml(cc) AMPULE!! not vial, would cost around 10 riyals max), also known as nandrolone decanoate — as did his friend. Not liking needles, Abdulilah was somewhat unhappy by the daily injection into his buttocks that he was told he had to have. (daily deca injections? boy, is this guy full of s***)
He didn’t have the nerve to do it himself or have his friend do it for him nor did they have the necessary syringes.
He told Arab News: “I went to the Saudi American Clinic and told a nurse that I had an injection that I needed to take. Because I didn’t have a prescription, I was referred to the doctor. He asked me what the injection was for, so I told him it was for the gym. When he saw that it was Deca, he said it wasn’t a problem and he gave the nurse the authorization to inject me. I was charged SR10 for the syringe each time I went back. Since it was so easy and no one asked for a prescription, I went back 19 more times,” Abdulilah said.
In order to confirm Abdulilah’s serious allegation against the Saudi American Clinic, this journalist phoned there and spoke to two different doctors on two different days. Initially they said that the hospital didn’t administer injections without a prescription. However, when they were told that the injection was Deca-Durabolin, both said it was not a problem and asked this journalist to come in to be injected.
Dr. Naseeb Rajoub, spokesman for the Saudi American Clinic, told Arab News: “We are not allowed to carry this drug in our supplies but it is sold at Soliman Fakeeh Hospital with a prescription. If someone comes to us with it, we assume they have obtained it through legal channels and we administer the injection as a service.” (If you want deca, you know where to go)
The doctor who injected Abdulilah never discussed the possible side-effects nor the complications that could arise from using steroids. Abdulilah continued: “Within a few days I started gaining weight quickly. My muscles weren’t cramping and I wasn’t sore after my workouts. During the first three weeks of using Deca, I gained 10 kg and was ecstatic.” (This is complete and total bulls***!!! nandrolone decanoate (deca) is a long acting steroid, which means you won't be seeing any results in less than 3 to 4 weeks of administration.)
Within a week, however, Abdulilah began to experience some side-effects — not having had the proper medical supervision to determine his dosage. (if you do the math correctly, he injects 50 mg per day. that's 350 mg per week. the minimum deca dosage for a beginner is 400 mg/week to see some good gains. deca is known for having little to no side effects except for temporary impotence usually after the 7th or 8th week of administration. and this guy is feeling sides from the first week. my a**!)
“The first thing I noticed was that I was more volatile, more explosive. I was almost always angry and aggressive and became more self-confident(aggressive? explosive? angry? first of all, high androgenic steroids cause so called "aggression". deca is a very very very week androgen. highly anabolic). Within a few days I found that my back was covered with pimples(again, an androgenic side effect. isn't he just stating the "media marketed" side effects of steroids here?). What really began to cause me alarm was the noticeable testicular shrinkage that happened after the first few injections,” he said. (first few injections? that's impossible! you must've had small balls to begin with. dumba**. anyway, this one could be somewhat true. deca shuts you down hard! but as i said, it's a long acting anabolic steroid, which means you won't see gains/side till 3,4, even 5 weeks into the cycle. Especially if it's only deca, which is a very bad cycle i might add)
“Then came the fevers and the chills. After two and a half weeks I started feeling unwell in general. I was almost always tired and felt weak and sick virtually all the time. By the end of the month, the steroids were making me too sick to go to the gym,” he said. (Do you know what the most common effect of deca is? strengthening the immune system, cushioning joints, and a increase in strength. why the hell do you think they give it to burn and AIDS victims? to weaken them even more? god!)
A doctor at King Abdul Aziz Hospital told Arab News: “Steroids are used in the medical profession for different reasons but mostly to suppress a patient’s immune system (suppress? well, i guess this was one of the doctors who got his degree by peaking at the other guy's papers in the exam) so that the patient does not feel the pain that occurs with inflammations such as rheumatoid arthritis. Steroids are also used locally with asthma patients. The problem with this course of treatment is that the patient’s body becomes unable to fight bacterial infections (I guess that's why they give it to AIDS and burn victims). With proper medical care and with the correct dosage combined with other medication, the side-effects are manageable but it is still considered risky due to complications that arise from having a suppressed immune system.”
After finishing his initial supply of 24 vials, Abdulilah decided to stay away from the gym and from steroids. He realized steroids were costing him not only SR1,800 but his health as well.
Deca-Durabolin has been proven to influence calcium metabolism positively and to increase bone mass. It is often used where a protein deficiency exists such as during chronic debilitating diseases and after major surgery and severe trauma (after major surgery and sever trauma.... isn't that when you're most prone to disease? didn't they say it suppresses the immune system? oh well). In these instances, Deca is used to support specific therapies and dietary measures during the course of medical treatment.

Obviously all of this is bull crap. You wanna go on a steroid cycle, go research the damn things. Doesn't even know how to inject himself and what kind of needle to use....pfff...pathetic.

For all you fat people that say "boo" to steroids, let's see how you deal with this! there's a chemical substance called DNP (DiNitroPhenol or Phenyl, i don't remember), it's the miracle drug you've been looking for. 7 lbs of pure fat burned in 7 days. and guess how you make it perform better in your body? by eating lots and lots of carbs. Guess what'll happen if you go on it? you'll die cuz you don't know how to use it. Let's see how jacked up you get from that info.

;) just kidding....... not kidding about DNP or sides....

Physique Maintenance

Ok, so we’ve talked about bulking up, and we’ve talked about cutting up. What about maintaining what you’ve worked so hard to build (or burn)? Seriously, people, if you’ve reached your goal and you’re happy with it, the worst is over. I’m going to use a stupid analogy to explain what I mean.

Let’s say you decided not to cut your hair and facial hair for 3 years (if women are reading, just imagine not shaving your legs for 3 years… yes, people will take pictures, point and say “big foot!!”. Just bare with me). Now, after growing that a** load of hair, you decided to shave it all off with a razor blade. You only have ONE razor blade to shave the whole thing off. How long do you think it’ll take you to do it? An hour? Two hours? Three? Six? Let me tell you (from personal experience, too. Not 3 years, but a couple of months) it’ll take a long a** time. Let’s just say you finished this task in a little less than 3 hours. A week later, you decided to shave it again with a new razor. How long do you think it’ll take this time? 5 minutes? 10 minutes, max?
The first time you shaved your head and face (after three years of not shaving or cutting it) you will, and I repeat, you will cut yourself a lot, especially if you’re only using one razor for the whole ordeal. A week later, not so many cuts. A week after that, you hardly cut yourself.

What the hell does this have to do with maintenance? Well, let’s say you just went through a year of cutting up. It’s as hard as hell at first. The cuts on your face and head translate to all the torture and agony you went through in the whole process. The razor blade resembles your will power. You always start off strong and then you start to lose it later on. Finally, when you reach your goal, you want to take a break and stop working so hard, but you still want to keep what you have. A week later (or a month, depending on the person), you start growing back the fat. How much fat? Very little. I’m talking grams here. All it takes is one or two cardio sessions to burn it off. Just like the hairs that grow back. You have to shave it off, but it won’t even take a fraction of the time it took you to shave it in the beginning.

The Plan

By now, you should be able to estimate how many calories from all the macro-nutrients you’re taking in every day. Also, you should know what is considered to be “good” food and what “bad” food is. Here’s what you could do:

1- Estimate number of calories burned per day:
For endo-morphs: Lean body mass x 12
For ecto-morphs: Lean body mass x 15

2- Estimate your caloric intake every day

3- You do not have to eat clean all the time. What would work best is eating clean for the first two or three meals and crap it up a little in the fourth or fifth meal (you don’t have to eat 5-6 meals, but it sure as hell helps)

4- Remember, eating 5-8 small meals (even if they’re full of crap) is a lot better (and burns a lot more calories) than eating 2 or 3 huge meals.

5- When ever you feel like you’ve gone overboard in a meal, you can wait for 3-4 hours then go do cardio for 30-50 minutes to burn off most of those calories you got in before they turn into fat.

6- Cardio should be done atleast once per week. Weight training should be done atleast twice per week (4 days max, of course)
7- NEVER EVER EAT ICE CREAM MORE THAN ONCE A WEEK!!!! That s*** is horrible!!! It’s the worst thing you can ever put in your body! Frozen low fat yoghurt is fine.

8- Try to keep protein at 1 gram/lb. of lean body mass (this is very important)

9- Don’t eat snacks often (chips, candy bars… etc). If you feel hungry, eat a meal.

10- Monitor your weight and measurements weekly to make sure you’re on track

11- There’s no point in torturing yourself after you’ve reached your goal. Eat some of your favorite foods (burgers, fries, chocolates, whatever) once or twice a day if you feel like. Please eat them in small portions and be reasonable (no ultra super duper jumbo size fries, or a deep fried mars bar or any of that s***).

12- Always keep emergency foods with you at home. Yes, I mean tuna, chicken breasts, protein shakes, and skim milk just to name a few. Nothing is worse than feeling extremely hungry, and finding nothing but a stick of butter in the fridge. Knowing some people, they’d just coat it with sugar and eat it.

13- Learn how to cook. It’ll help you a lot.

Don’t Over Do it!

If you go down to 4% fat, don’t be an idiot and expect you can maintain it. Anything under 7% fat is extremely hard to maintain and it’s very unhealthy. A good range to be in is between 7-10% fat. Even professional body builders don’t go below 7% in the off-season or when trying to maintain what they have. Let’s say you’re planning on going on a vacation in the summer and you want to be ripped and shredded for those beaches you want to go to. If you’re at 7% fat, all it takes is 4-8 weeks to get extremely ripped. So, it’s no big deal.

That’s all I can think of right now. If you have any questions or anything you’d like to discuss, just post a comment or send me an email. I’ll be more than glad to help.

Good Luck

Natural.... who gives a damn?

You know what? i'm sick and tired of all this natural crap coming out lately. Even vitamin pills are getting a two thumbs down these days! "you should eat fruits and vegetables, they're natural sources of vitamins, not chemicals." Fruits and veggies aren't worth crap in my book. The only thing they're good for is sugar and fibers to make you visit the crapper more often. Even the sugar in fruits is crappy! it's fructose for god's sake! only 50 grams of it gets stored in the muscle cell as glycogen, the rest is used for energy. Knowing people's activity levels these days, it'll eventually (very very soon i might add) go to the fat cells. Vitamins in fruits and veggies? I consider them as negligible amounts. Why? take an orange, for instnace. One medium sized orange has 60 mg of vitamin C. A glass of orange juice has 90 mg of vitamin C. It would take 40 glasses of orange juice to get my vitamin C daily requirments (4 grams). That would also amount to 1200 grams of sugar (fructose), which ends up at 4800 calories from pure sugar. Talking about anti-oxidants and all that crap. What the hell do you think is in a vitamin pill? carcinogens? They have more anti-oxidants in one pill than you'll ever get eating fruits and veggies for a whole year. "But i heard too much anti-oxidants cause cancer." yeah, and too little cause cancer too. Oh, and just the right amount causes cancer also. Cancer, gimme a freaking break. "OH MY GOD!! you're saying cancer too many times!! that's how you get it!!!" That's what everyone around here thinks, really. Just say cancer and everyone will freaking plug their ears and start making loud noises. You know what cancer is? a genetic defect. That's my personal opinion. If it weren't, everyone who smokes would get lung cancer. Everyone who ever drank cool-aid will get leukemia. Everyone who ever woke up and went for a walk under the sun would get skin cancer. Yes, somethings tend to increase the formation of cancer cells, but still, if the gene isn't defected, nothing's gonna happen. That's my personal opinion though. "I heard this causes cancer" "I heard that causes cancer." "some research shows that this causes cancer." Who the hell cares? you want cancer? go outside, take a deeeeeeeeeeeep breath. Do you feel it? that's cancer. All those fumes and little particels that are coming out of all the cars and factories and all the UV rays coming from the sun and the cows farts that are being realesed, that's cancer right there. What's my point???? Cancer is natural. that's why it's there. no amount of staying away from "Processed foods" or "chemicals" will help. If it's in your gene code, you'll get it sooner or later. But that's just me. Why listen?

Anyway, let's go back to being "natural", shall we? OK, let's go back 20,000 years ago. What do you think the average male's life expectancy was? 25? 30? 35, max? I really don't know, but i guess it's around those numbers. Why? because of diseases. Viral infections, bacterial infections, defficiencies, and CANCER! Now, take your fingers out of your ears and stop yelling. Did those people have any "chemically enhanced" foods? Did they have McDonalds? Did they have cigarettes? (they probably did, right after they discovered fire to light it). They were all NATURAL! Meaning they could not fight off any diseases of any sort. Our immune system is weak. very very very weak. It can't even fight off a little itty bitty flu virus. That's why we NEED to chemically enhance our bodies. That's why the life expectancy doubled! Medicine, vitamins, supplements, all the good stuff! Talk to me about herbs and "natural" medicine... pffff... gimme a freaking break. Let me tell you a little something about these "natural" and "herbal" products. Most of them are just a scam. I'll tell you a little story. saturday morninig, I started to develope a bacterial infection in my throat (strep throat). I get this crap every year, same time too. 3 years ago, I wanted to beat it off naturally! Big whoop! Ended up with a major infection 3 weeks later and going on anti biotics for 2 more weeks. I tried it all! the herbal remedies, honey lemon and tea, garlic and salt, cinammon, and god knows what. Why? because i was also sucked into the notion that antibiotics destroy the immune system and make it weaker. A year later, same thing happened. I told myself to try and beat it off naturally (cuz i'm a dumb a**) for a week, and then go to the doctor if it presisted. guess what? a week later i was at the doctor's office with a throat and ear infection. Again, went on anti biotics. Last year, 2 days after i got the infection, i went on antibiotics for 4 days and it went away. This year? started antibiotics on sunday morning. Today, monday, it's clearing up. Yes, i'm still doing 2 hours of cardio and 1 hour of weight training. This crappy infection won't set me back. Anyway, i've already downed 2 boxes of strepsils and on to my third, and i'll be on antibiotics for 6 more days. Why? cause this time i did my research. I found some pretty interesting facts. ofcourse, there were two points of views. One from the "Natural, herbal remedy" crap sites, and the other from the medical websites. here's what they had to say:

Natural, herbal crap

1- Antibiotics inhibit the immune system and make it weaker
2- many people have allergies towards antibiotics
3- every time you use an antibiotic, the bacteria evolves and attacks to the point where antibiotics don't work.
4- natural products strengthen the immune system and makes it much more efficient in fighting off diseases
5- Natural products do not inhibit the body's immune system like antibiotics

Medical research

1- Antibiotics do not inhibit the immune system. The immune system is usually too weak to fight off bacteria by itself. Antibiotics Work with the body to fight it off.
2- The most common problem with antibiotics is ending treatment BEFORE THE SPECIFIED TIME. This results in the survival of the bacteria with the strongest resistance to the antibiotic and multiplies. this results in a stronger infection which cannot be cured by the former antibiotic and will need a much stronger one.
3- The is NO EVIDENCE that "natural" products boost the immune system.

To all the folks that still believe in "natural" food and supplements, have a great life.
To the people who prefer to mix it up with chemicals, have a great longer life.

Again, this is my personal opinion, except for the research part. That just supports my opinion ;)

Fat burner...Pfffff... MY A**!!!!!

Just wanted to share this little thought with you about how "fat burners" are really starting to get on my nerves. If you've read my post about fat mobilization, you'd know that Beta-3 receptors are only found in animal and baby "brown" fat. Here's a little "fact" i've come across in the discription of one of the leading "fat burners" in the market. the main ingredient is Octopamine. Keep in mind that beta-3 receptors do not exist in adult human fat. Here's what they say:

"Octopamine: Octopamine is a surprisingly well-researched Beta-3 agonist. It is most notably known for significant increases in Norepinephrine release. Interestingly enough, octopamine is quite effectual at improving insulin sensitivity (in muscle cells). What this does is create a feeding hierarchy that shuttles nutrients into muscle and away from fat. This means that octopamine is both a fat killer via starvation and anti-catabolic to muscle. Or to put it more simply: Octopamine burns fat while preserving muscle. One of the really cool facts about octopamine is that it significantly increases fat loss through Beta 3 receptors without increasing the jitters, increasing heart rate or causing loss of sleep."

To all you coffee lovers out there

This is a very interresting study done on the effects of coffee and caffiene on the liver enzyme Alanine AminoTransferase (ALT).

Coffee and caffeine consumption reduce the risk of elevated serum alanine aminotransferase activity in the United States.

Ruhl CE, Everhart JE.
Background & Aims: Based on experimental and epidemiologic studies, we investigated whether coffee and caffeine consumption reduced the risk of elevated alanine aminotransferase (ALT) activity in persons at high risk for liver injury in a national, population-based study. Methods: Participants were 5944 adults in the Third US National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey, 1988-1994, with excessive alcohol consumption, viral hepatitis, iron overload, overweight, or impaired glucose metabolism. Liver injury was indicated by abnormal serum ALT activity (>43 U/L). Results: Elevated ALT activity was found in 8.7% of this high-risk population. In unadjusted analysis, lower ALT activity was associated with increasing consumption of coffee ( P = .001) and caffeine ( P = .001). Multivariate logistic regression analyses showed that the risk of elevated ALT activity declined with increasing intake of coffee ( P for trend = .034) and caffeine ( P < .001). Comparing persons who drank more than 2 cups per day with noncoffee drinkers, the odds ratio was .56 (95% confidence interval, .31-1.0). Comparing persons in the highest caffeine quintile with the lowest, the odds ratio was .31 (95% confidence interval, .16-.61). These relationships were consistent across subgroups at risk for liver injury and were relatively unchanged when analyses included the entire population or when limited to persons without impaired liver function or right upper quadrant pain. Fasting insulin concentrations did not mediate the effects. Conclusions: In this large, national, population-based study, among persons at high risk for liver injury, consumption of coffee and especially caffeine was associated with lower risk of elevated ALT activity.

Steroids don't kill people... Stupidity kills people

I truly don't know what the big deal with steroids is, especially with professional athletes. Seriously, if I were to pay an athlete 20 millions dollars a year, I would make it mandatory for him to use steroids excessively. Why do you think they pay them that kind of money? Because they like them? NO! It's because they bring in more money!! Sports are a form of entertainment. You want to entertain people? Break more records! How do you do that? Well, I think natural athlete records suck, big time. Why? Because they're limited by genetics. Professional athletes shouldn't be limited. And how do you do that? STEROIDS!!! Ofcourse steroids without proper training and nutrition would be worthless. Let me tell you something, our Saudi soccer team is one of the worst soccer teams in the world. I think they deserved that title after their performance in the 2002 world cup. Why? Is it because we're genetically unfit for the sport? No! Is it because we don't have enough money to fund the team? Hell no! Then why do we suck? Because proper nutrition for the sport is practically non existent, and the players think they're paid millions of riyals just to play a little soccer. Our star player, yaser al gahtani, spends almost every night at a gahwa smoking a hooka for hours at a time. What do you think would happen if a top English soccer player, or a German or whatever, did that? THEY WOULD FIRE HIS ASS AND KICK HIM OUT ON THE STREET! And what do we do? Pay him more money!
okay, back to my main issue, do you seriously think all the top soccer players have 27 inch ripped thighs because they go through their "training drills"? I don't think so. Those guys have above average (way way way above average) endurance and power. Why? Yup, steroids. Don't be naive and say "no. Football federations (or any other sport) will not allow it. They test for that stuff." gimme a freaking break! I'm not a huge soccer fan (not even a fan, I hate the sport), but whenever I see the German team playing, they look like freaking turbo charged tanks! Playing soccer, going through harsh endurance training, and weight training will not give you the kind of endurance and power those players have. If you think steroids only give you size, boy you're wrong (you'd be surprised how many swimmers and cyclist get disqualified for not passing a drug test. Do know how small those guys are?).
Now, here's my opinion, drug tests should be non existent. Why? Because most people, especially teenagers, see professional athletes as role models. What would happen if a young little troll saw his favorite athlete get busted for steroid use? That little idiot would assume steroids were what made him play that way. So, the little troll gathers up all his little troll friends and decide to go on a goup cycle. Don't believe me? You think this is stupid? Think about this. Androstenedione is one of the worst prohormones out there, yet when idiots heard about mark McGuire, or however the hell you spell his name, used it to get big and hit more homeruns, they immediately started using it and abusing it. Andro was in the market for a long long time. But it never boomed until this happened. Mark didn't get that big, strong, and focused on andro! Come on! gimme a freaking break here! You'd have to gobble down 50 grams of andro every day to get half those results, which will eventually kill you in 7 minutes (no, these aren't real figures I'm using. This is just for s***s and giggles). Mark was obviously on the juice.
Enough about athletes that use steroids (they should), lets talk about the idiots that use steroids without knowing what the hell they do. All what I'll say here is from personal experience with idiots and morons (including myself! Surprise!). Let's talk about a pretty close friend of mine that has been juicing for the past 4 years, and training for the past 6 years. I will refer to him as skittles. Now skittles has an IQ of a doped up turtle. The thing that really bothers me about skittles is that he thinks he knows what he's doing. Skittles has been training for 2 years naturally. Unfortunately, he never got any results because he doesn't even know the basics of bodybuilding. So, he decided to go on some steroid cycles because he knows some friends who won many competitions in the heavy and super-heavy weight class divisions. So what did skittles do? HE WENT ON THE SAME CYCLES AS THOSE GUYS WITH DECADES OF EXPERIENCE!! What were the results after 4 years and more than 14 cycles later? The guy started out at 90 KG with about 30% fat. 6 years later, 105 KG with 25% fat. An increase of almost 16 KG of muscle... In six years. My 12 year old brother would achieve a lot more muscle mass from training naturally (not even that hard) for 3 years. Where did he go wrong? He doesn't listen to any sane advice, he doesn't read anything about steroids (just goes by the word in the gym), didn't know anything about PCT (Post Cycle Therapy) until his 3 year of steroid use, and he doesn't know jack s*** about nutrition. Skittles, my friends, was a typical steroid user. Otherwise known as an idiot.
Moving on, our second retard is a guy I usually see at the old gym I used to go to. I will refer to him as "confused toad". Now, confused toad is a very very very tiny guy. I'd give him 60 KGs max. We were doing some cable crosses and then he asked me if I was going to compete. I was just starting my contest preparation and told him that I was. So, he asked me if I was using any steroids. I just smiled and said no, then I asked him why he asked (I love it when people ask me that. I agree, I am a jerk). He said:"man, I've been using dianabol for over 3 weeks now and I'm not getting half the results you're getting". My eyes popped out and I just said "What the hell are you using dianabol for?" Confused toad said: "A guy told me that it'll help me gain a lot of weight in a couple of months. Plus I got the Iranians. I'm taking about 25 mg per day." First off, Iranian dianabol is very hard to come across in Saudi Arabia and it's underdosed or fake if you find it. Plus, 25 mg of dianabol (which is never to be used as a stand alone steroid) doesn't do squat. So I asked what his diet looked like. He gave me a very confident look and said:"oh man, I eat a lot of protein and carbs and I stay away from fat. I eat 2 egg whites and a glass of orange juice in the morning, and after work I eat a shawarma (sandwich with a lot of fatty dressing and 3 oz. Of shredded chicken dripping with fat), and sometimes I drink a protein shake before bed." I wasn't in the mood to argue (which was very strange. But this guy is just hopeless) and I just asked him what he was taking for liver protection, inhibiting aromatization, and his PCT. The guy looked at me in a very confused way (hence the name confused toad) and said:"what's all that?" I just gave out a huge sigh and started explaining it to him. At the end, this toad surprised me by saying:"ahhh, yeah. I think I know what your talking about. I should've been more prepared since I'm a pharmacist."I almost punched him. I'm serious.
Now lets move on to another idiot, myself. I will refer to myself as fuzzy quail, so as to hide my true identity. Fuzzy quail had been training for less than a year. He started getting his s*** together and reading a lot about bodybuilding, training, nutrition, and supplements. One day, fuzzy quail went to GNC (The evil store of death) and saw some little bottles of androstendione on the shelf that were on sale. Now, fuzzy quail read about andro, but he only knew that it converted to testosterone and it's a prohormone, and that's about all what he knew about it. So, he purchased a bottle to try it out. Fuzzy quail didn't know how to use it. So, he just adhered to the label directions. Taking 2 pills a day before a workout, fuzzy quail started feeling more energy in the gym, his weights slightly went up, but there were no increases in mass. Now, this idiot didn't even know what he was doing. So, he spent some more time reading about it. After a couple of weeks, fuzzy quail discovered that androstenedione was the worst prohormone in the market, and the minimal dose was 300 mg per day. Lucky for stupid fuzzy quail, the dose he was using was 100 mg per day. So, most likely the strength increases in the gym were due to a placebo effect. Plus, the dose wasn't high enough to cause endogenous testosterone inhibition. Still, fuzzy quail did a very stupid mistake that could've screwed him big time.

Conclusion?
This article is a total waste of time, and I only wrote it because I'm bored and I have nothing else better to do. IT'S TIME FOR SOME GOOD OL' CHICKEN!!!

Fat mobilization... is spot reducing fat actually true?

the answer is simply no! BUT!! here's something that'll help you understand why you aren't burning fat in the areas you really want to.
Okay, let's say you have a lot of fat in your love handles and thighs. don't you wonder why they're the last bits of fat your body burns after it gets rid of all the other fat stores? well, i did a bit of research and i was amased by the information i've come across. I used to think it was all due to genetics... well, it is to some extent. Enough with the small talk. catecholamines (adrenaline and noradrenaline) are responsible for fat mobilization (by way of increasing cAMP levels). what's fat mobilization? it's breaking down fat cells into Free Fatty Acids (FFA) and dump them in the blood stream to use as energy. There are 3 adrenoreceptors in your fat cells that are mainly concerned here (4 receptors when you were a baby). those receptors are named Beta-1, Beta-2, and Alpha-2 (the fourth one Beta-3, which is only in brown "baby" fat, and animal fat). when catecholamines bind to Beta-1 and 2 receptors, they increase cAMP levels and mobilize fat from that area. But, when they bind to Alpha-2 receptors, they decrease cAMP levels, which inhibits mobilization. Now, research has shown (the research was only done on women) that stubborn fat areas (hips and thighs in most women) contain 9 times more Alpha-2 receptors than Beta-1 and 2. Hence, they are "stubborn" and very hard to mobilize.
What to do? well, i'm trying some (unproven) methods that basically inhibit the Alpha-2 receptors, which leads to more fat mobilization from stubborn areas. "does this mean i can spot reduce fat?" NO!!!! lets say (the numbers won't make sense, but it's just to get it in your head) you burn 1 lb of fat from your arms, 1 lb of fat from your thighs and nothing from your love handles in one week. if you inhibit Alpha-2 receptors, you'd probably lose 0.6 lbs from the arms, 0.6 lbs from your thighs, and 0.6 lbs from your love handles.

Since i am in no position to judge if this method works or not (i'm less than 5% fat and the only fat i have left is in my lower abdomin and lower back, which is the most difficult to burn for me), i will test it on my subjects and provide the results in a couple of months.

My good friend Hosam told me that he wanted info on two issues:

1) How to maintain one's physique after reaching their goal

2) How to deal with The holy month of Ramadhan

I'm going to write two long articles about these issues, and i'll hopefully be done sometime next week. i'll try to publish them on WTS-ONLINE if aziz isn't busy. Otherwise, i'll just publish them on this blog.

Aziz....... don't get too fat on those krispy kremes dude

I just want to show you people how the media and advertisements can play with anything in this world. I gues everyone knows "for a fact" that steroid use and "muscle building supplements" are the devil. you always hear about the negative side effects and never the positive side effects of those things. Why? because the media shoves all the wrong information into your heads. let me show you an example of a medical study on milk. yes, milk. you've all seen the campaigns that promote milk and tells people how good it is for them. "got milk?". you see it everywhere. and the media never backed anything up with scientific research. I've read numerous medical studies on steroids and how they can benefit people with minimal side effects (side effects being zits and temporarily low HDL levels). I know that none of you even heard of those studies cuz the media never told you about them. well, this is a study on milk. the media never told you this, and never will:

Don't Drink Your Milk! Processing Is the Problem

The path that transforms healthy milk products into allergens and carcinogens begins with modern feeding methods that substitute high-protein, soy-based feeds for fresh green grass and breeding methods to produce cows with abnormally large pituitary glands so that they produce three times more milk than the old fashioned scrub cow. These cows need antibiotics to keep them well. Their milk is then pasteurized so that all valuable enzymes are destroyed (lactase for the assimilation of lactose; galactase for the assimilation of galactose; phosphatase for the assimilation of calcium). Literally dozens of other precious enzymes are destroyed in the pasteurization process. Without them, milk is very difficult to digest. The human pancreas is not always able to produce these enzymes; over-stress of the pancreas can lead to diabetes and other diseases. The butterfat of commercial milk is homogenized, subjecting it to rancidity. Even worse, butterfat may be removed altogether. Skim milk is sold as a health food, but the truth is that butter-fat is in milk for a reason. Without it the body cannot absorb and utilize the vitamins and minerals in the water fraction of the milk. Along with valuable trace minerals and short chain fatty acids, butterfat is America's best source of preformed vitamin A. Synthetic vitamin D, known to be toxic to the liver, is added to replace the natural vitamin D complex in butterfat. Butterfat also contains re-arranged acids which have strong anti-carcinogenic properties. Non-fat dried milk is added to 1% and 2% milk. Unlike the cholesterol in fresh milk, which plays a variety of health promoting roles, the cholesterol in non-fat dried milk is oxidized and it is this rancid cholesterol that promotes heart disease. Like all spray dried products, non-fat dried milk has a high nitrite content. Non-fat dried milk and sweetened condensed milk are the principle dairy products in third world countries; use of ultra high temperature pasteurized milk is widespread in Europe. Other Factors Regarding Milk Milk and refined sugar make two of the largest contributions to food induced ill health in our country. That may seem like an overly harsh statement, but when one examines the evidence, this is a reasonable conclusion. The recent approval by the FDA of the use of BGH (Bovine Growth Hormone) by dairy farmers to increase their milk production only worsens the already sad picture. BGH causes an increase in an insulin-like growth factor (IGF-1) in the milk of treated cows. IGF-1 survives milk pasteurization and human intestinal digestion. It can be directly absorbed into the human bloodstream, particularly in infants. It is highly likely that IGF-1 promotes the transformation of human breast cells to cancerous forms. IGF-1 is also a growth factor for already cancerous breast and colon cancer cells, promoting their progression and invasiveness. It is also possible for us to absorb the BGH directly from the milk. This will cause further IGF-1 production by our own cells. BGH will also decrease the body fat of cows. Unfortunately, the body fat of cows is already contaminated with a wide range of carcinogens, pesticides, dioxin, and antibiotic residues. When the cows have less body fat, these toxic substances are then transported into the cows' milk. BGH also causes the cows to have an increase in breast infections for which they must receive additional antibiotics. Prior to BGH, 38%of milk sampled nationally was already contaminated by illegal residues of antibiotics and animal drugs. This will only increase with the use of BGH. One can only wonder what the long term complications will be for drinking milk that has a 50% chance it is contaminated with antibiotics. There is also a problem with a protein enzyme called xanthine oxidase which is in cow's milk. Normally, proteins are broken down once you digest them. However, when milk is homogenized, small fat globules surround the xanthine oxidase and it is absorbed intact into your blood stream. There is some very compelling research demonstrating clear associations with this absorbed enzyme and increased risks of heart disease. Ear specialists frequently insert tubes into the ear drums of infants to treat recurrent ear infections. It has replaced the previously popular tonsillectomy to become the number one surgery in the country. Unfortunately, most of these specialists don't realize that over 50% of these children will improve and have no further ear infections if they just stop drinking their milk. This is a real tragedy. Not only is the $3,000 spent on the surgery wasted, but there are some recent articles supporting the likelihood that most children who have this procedure will have long term hearing losses. It is my strong recommendation that you discontinue your milk products. If you find this difficult, I would start for several weeks only, and reevaluate how you feel at that time. This would include ALL dairy, including skim milk and Lact-Aid milk, cheese, yogurt, and ice cream. If you feel better after several weeks you can attempt to rotate small amounts of one form of milk every four days. You probably are wondering what will happen to your bones and teeth if you stop milk. The majority of the world's population takes in less than half the calcium we are told we need and yet they have strong bones and healthy teeth. Cows' milk is rich in phosphorous which can combine with calcium--and can prevent you from absorbing the calcium in milk. The milk protein also accelerates calcium excretion from the blood through the kidneys. This is also true when you eat large amount of meat and poultry products. Vegetarians will need about 50% less calcium than meat eaters because they lose much less calcium in their urine. It is possible to obtain all your calcium from dark green vegetables (where do you think the cow gets their's from?). The darker the better. Cooked collard greens and kale are especially good. If you or your child is unable to take in large amounts of green vegetables, you might want to supplement with calcium. If you can swallow pills, we have an excellent, inexpensive source called Calcium Citrate, which has a number of other minerals which your body requires to build up maximally healthy bone. It is much better than a simple calcium tablet. You can take about 1,000 mg a day. For those who already suffer from osteoporosis, the best calcium supplement is microcrystalline hydroxyapatite. It is also important that you take vitamin D in the winter months from November to March. Normally your skin converts sunshine to vitamin D, but the sunshine levels in the winter are very low unless you visit Florida or Mexico type areas. Most people obtain their vitamin D from milk in the winter; so if you stop it, please make sure you are taking calcium with vitamin D or a multi vitamin with vitamin D to prevent bone thinning. Most people are not aware that the milk of most mammals varies considerably in its composition. For example, the milk of goats, elephants, cows, camels, wolves, and walruses show marked differences, in their content of fats, protein, sugar, and minerals. Each was designed to provide optimum nutrition to the young of the respective species. Each is different from human milk. In general, most animals are exclusively breast-fed until they have tripled their birth weight, which in human infants occurs around the age of one year. In no mammalian species, except for the human (and domestic cat) is milk consumption continued after the weaning period. Calves thrive on cow milk. Cow's milk is designed for calves. Cow's milk is the number one allergic food in this country. It has been well documented as a cause in diarrhea, cramps, bloating, gas, gastrointestinal bleeding, iron-deficiency anemia, skin rashes, atherosclerosis, and acne. It is the primary cause of recurrent ear infections in children. It has also been linked to insulin dependent diabetes, rheumatoid arthritis, infertility, and leukemia. Hopefully, you will reconsider your position on using milk as a form of nourishment. Small amounts of milk or milk products taken infrequently, will likely cause little or no problems for most people. However, the American Dairy Board has done a very effective job of marketing this product. Most people believe they need to consume large, daily quantities of milk to achieve good health. NOTHING could be further from the truth. Public health officials and the National Dairy Council have worked together in this country to make it very difficult to obtain wholesome, fresh, raw dairy products. Nevertheless, they can be found with a little effort. In some states, you can buy raw milk directly from farmers. Whole, pasteurized, non-homogenized milk from cows raised on organic feed is now available in many gourmet shops and health food stores. It can be cultured to restore enzyme content, at least partially. Cultured buttermilk is often more easily digested than regular milk; it is an excellent product to use in baking. Many shops now carry whole cream that is merely pasteurized (not ultra pasteurized like most commercial cream); diluted with water, it is delicious on cereal and a good substitute for those allergic to milk. Traditionally made creme fraiche (European style sour cream), it also has a high enzyme content.

L-Glutamine and GABA:

Monday was carb loading day. ate about 350 - 400 grams of carbs. it felt real gooooooood!!! but that's not the issue here. i was having alot of trouble waking up lately (felt like dog feces) so i decided to take some supplements to help me go into deeper sleep and rest properly. i had a buttload of glutamine and GABA (Gama AminoButyric Acid) so i just down 10 grams of glutamine and 6 grms of GABA 30 minutes before bed. GOD DAMN!!! I had 3 Extremely funny dreams and i slept like a baby (i rarely dream or go into deep sleep). i read some research about GABA and glutamine that said they increase GH secretion at night. well, i woke up full of energy and just had a smile on my face. cardio was nothing. 50 minutes of constant jogging without feeling a bit outta breath. I thought it was the carbs from monday. but tuesday was a no carb (less than 40 grams) day. so, i decided to try it again. another 10 grams of glutamine and 6 grams of GABA. guess what? same thing happened! some funny ass dreams and waking up with energy that made me feel like super man.
they also say that GABA stimulates a part of the mind that is responsible for having "erotic" dreams. hence having an "erotic" dream when taking it. i say it's bull crap. funny is what they are. maybe i only get funny dreams cuz i'm an idoit? you never know.

Btw, one of the dreams was about my highschool physics teach trying to take over the world with an idoitic gun and we just laughed at him and pushed him around and that stuff. (gu gu ze ultimate, you remember Ali Dyab?? it was him =D )

MAX-OT

yesterday i tried a new training program just to see what the big fuss was about. let me tell, i have never ever ever ever in my life seen immediate results that were as good as these. i mean, i didn't even try the whole program, just the warm-up routine and the set and rep guidelines. you wanna know what the results were? well, as you might know, i'm in a very harsh cutting diet and training schedule. yesterday was back and bicep day. last week i did 200 lb lat pull downs, 225 lb barbell rows, and 50 lb dumbbell rows. now, by just implementing the warm-up guidelines of MAX-OT, my lifts went up to 250lb lat pull down, 315 lb barbell rows (yes, a 90 lb increase over last week. even i couldn't believe it) and 90 lb dumbell rows. although i'm on a severly low carb diet, i had one heck of a pump. to everyone who's thinking of bulking up, i'd advise you to use this program and follow it to the 'T'. i'm not joking or being sarcastic. i'm serioiuse about this one. I mean to hell with the book i just wrote. this is much better. and guess what? the whole program is free!! you just have to register. here's the site:
https://www.ast-ss.com/max-ot/register.asp

Pros of the MAX-OT program:
everything except the cons i'm gonna mention :p

Cons:
1-the program talks alot about using whey protein in the nutrition section (especially the brand of protein the writer's sponsored by), which is total bull.
2- The program talks about including a lot of supplements (which the sponsored company sells) into your nutrition. Also, bull.

Other than that, it's perfect. It makes a whole lot of sense and it's as simple as .... well, it's just simple.
Hey, it's hard to convince me of something like a new training program (or diet, which i'll never change) that actually works. but when i see results (i'm talking 'what the hell?' kind of results) on the first day, i'm a believer. give it a try and see what you think.

well, yesterday was low carb, and today is even lower carb. the guy next to my cubical has the most annoying voice and he's so freakin' loud. he's talking on the phone right now and i'm contemplating emptying this bottle of water i have over his head.
Hey, since women can get away with anything when they're PMSing, men should get away with anything when they're on low/no carb. ARE YOU WITH ME?!
.....must.....not....think.....of......... DONUT!!!!!

GOD!!! WHEN WILL THIS STOP!!!!???
detox diet?? GI diet??? seriously, this will never end. listen, here's my new diet. it's called the baskin robins 31 lbs per week diet. eat 2 scoops of gold medal ribbon (large scoops) flavored ice cream daily. don't eat anything else. in a week, you'll lose 31 lbs!! it's true and tried. the whole idea goes around the concept of your body's adaptation. if you eat ice cream all day, your body will get used to it. hence, it will start burning it off becuase it's getting all the fat it needs!!! and since it's called "baskin robins 31 flavors ice cream" you'll burn 31 lbs based on the number of flavors!!!
greg lost 2 billion lbs on this diet, and jeremy lost 25 metric tons*.

*results not typical

I took 120 mcg of clen about an hour ago. I'm all jittery right now, and maybe I'll explode in a couple of more minutes. Anyway, I decided to drop the methasterone tomorrow because my weight is actually increasing (181 lbs) on a caloric deficit, which is (theoretically) impossible!! I still need to drop down to atleast 167 lbs by mid September.
Book update: it's almost ready. Hopefully it'll be done by Wednesday. By the way, if you think it's gonna be well organized, hehehehehe you're in for it!
