The Perfect Body: Facts, Myths, and a Can of Tuna

Let's get back to our main subject, shall we?

I want to talk about severely overweight people... this time around, the word "average" really means overweight. When 15-18% is the "average" fat percentage, it's really a shame. so when i say severely overwieght people, i mean people who are from 20-25% fat... anything obove that is obese, and anything above 30% is morbidly obese. The BMI crap that doctors use and so forth is just rediculous. according to their BMI, i am obese. So, i would throw that crap out if i were you. Back to the main subject here... when you're above 20% fat, your body really just wants to get rid of fat or weight as fast as possible. sadly, people either don't let it, or they drop down to what people at 4% fat do and they actually let their bodies adapt to an excrutiating diet really quick. I have trained some overweight people, and i found that the "bodybuilding" method of burning fat slowly doesn't work that well with them, cuz basically their bodies don't want to hold on to muscle or fat... The best approach to this problem is lots of cardio, high volume training with lots of rest (3-4 times per week max)... and most importantly... diet... the diet is pretty tricky with fat people. some are highly sensitive to insulin... you have to drop your carbs and raise your fats on this one... and some are just sensitive to fats... you drop your fats and adjust carbs... A good way to do this instead of wasting much time trying to figure this shit out is to do a carb cycling diet. there are 2 billion and one different ways to do this. you can go on a high carb, moderate carb, low carb day and repeat... or go on high, med-high, moderate, mod-low, low, then repeat. it all depends on how your body responds. once you get down to the 12-15% fat range... then it gets tricky. for people who just want to drop weight and brag about it (you know, the people that look like shit and just say "can you believe it... i lost 80 lbs in 3 months)... if you want to do that, just fucking do cardio 7-14 times per week and don't eat. it truly works. but you'll be a sorry son of a gun if you do that.

Progress

I promised that i'd post some pictures in july... so... i'm at around 207 lbs when i wake up after a good nights sleep... and i'll explain changes at the bottom

and finally, the newest addition to the family... little ruffles :)

damn... when you look at the picture... it looks like i'm gonna eat that puppy for lunch!!!

anyway... a very respected trainer accepted to train me for my next couple of contest... this guy is good... really good... he preps some bodybuilders for nationals... if you've ever seen the guys that hit the national stage... damn... anyway... I still don't know what's gonna happen until i start in September... for now, he just told me it was ok to keep on gaining size the way i am... i'm hoping for a good 5-10 lbs before i start prep...
and, it's funny... i remember some people used to think that my fees are "extremely expensive" as they say... and some even said "i don't want to waste my 400 riyals on nothing"... heh... Phil was cheap... yes... but phil doesn't give you the kind of attention you would expect... he expects you to know what you're doing before you contact him... he won't tell you exactly what to do as in "eat this amount of chicken breast and potatos for lunch"... no... he'll say for example "eat 300 cals on this meal with a 40/40/20 split"... Almost everyone i know doesn't know how to do that...
I've seen how much trainers charge (good ones)... this guy isn't much more expensive than the others (not saying that phil isn't one of the best.. he is... but you have to have a solid background first)... let's just say, for the eastern province and the nationals... i'm paying an equivelant to 3 Play station 3's...
you always get what you pay for... when you go to a gym here in saudi and you ask them to give you a "program"... they give it to you for free... and that's exactly what you get... you pay nothing... youget nothing... always keep that in mind...

The most amazing supplement on earth

isn't even sold as a bodybuilding supplement... since i had to figure this one out on my own... i aint telling anyone about this except for my paying customers. it's as cheap as shit, and it's more effective than any other supp on the market. And the beautiful part is, no one knows about it, cuz no one talks about it... and it's as cheap as shit... but it's hard to find. why am i telling you this and not telling you what the supplement is? because... i'm an ass hole.

Good post bro. and good progress...
Not a big fan of puppies but thats a cute one...

Let me second you on what you said about Phil...What you said is right and it’s even worse if you are not used to trainers like him. I'm training with Phil right now and I'm telling you I was damn shocked at the beginning because I'm used to your way of training.
Just to give everybody a feel of how this works:
If you work with Hamad he will be giving you every small detail you need to know and he will never hesitate to receive messages on his cell phone from your sorry dumb butt asking stupid questions at the wrong time…he will also bug you when you don’t report to him…besides he will be teaching you, which means he will tell you do this and give you the explanation behind it.
Guess what!!! Mr. Giant Phil doesn’t give you NON of that stuff…that’s why he is damn cheap…
This guy is flooded with other clients so every time I e-mail him I have to explain to him what I was doing and tell him what I need or if there is a problem…all what you will get in back is one sentence telling you what you should do and then you have to go figure it out yourself…yes its something like eat that much of protein, carbs, and fats and that’s it…
Some times you would make no sense to him and he just wont bother asking you what you meant but rather say something like I told you what I recommend and you can do WHATEVER YOU WANT TO DO.
At first I thought he was nasty but then I figured that’s what you get for 80 riyals, other wise he would’ve charged more…Phil is excellent and I’m learning new things from him but as Hamad said not for guys with no solid back ground or at least some kind of back ground, such as myself…
All the gains I had since 8 months ago, which are the most major gains in my bb life, I owe to Hamad; I would post before and after pictures if I had my blog going…
Bottom line…if you are serious and don’t know how to do it then guys like Hamad will take you there.

thanks for the kind words, bandar. Having phil by your side helps you figure out the hole picture... you should have all the pieces to the puzzles, and he'll put them together for you. but if you don't have any pieces at all... it'll just confuse the hell outta you.

As for the supplement... it pulls a lot of water from various parts of your body to your muscles. it'll make you look bigger, stronger, and it'll help shuttle nutrients like BCAA and various aminos and creatine to your muscles. but the best feeling i get from this supplement... man.. it makes you feel pumped all day... even when you wake up, you'll look like you just got outta the gym with a full pump. and at the gym... man, you'll feel like your muscles are going to explode.
sometimes they add this supplement to other supplements in small quantities... a month serving would cost around 5-10 dollars... if you buy the other supplements that have that ingredient it'll cost around $40 for a week supply... i've ordered some online and hopefully it'll make it through since it's not a "bodybuilding" supplement...
just another tip to help you figure it out... maybe... a friend of mine who is an amazing cook uses this supplement as a sweetner in some of his desserts.
