Update
I has a sad... ok, so it was a big mistake to think i could even get ready for local contests in such a short period of time, let alone thinking i could make it and compete in bahrain and qatar... I'm just gonna compete for fun this year and to get the "what the fuck happened?" comments... as exciting as they may sound...
anyway, shit went horribly wrong when i tried to go down from eating 4000 cals a day weighing 221 lbs and diet down eating 2000 cals and doing cardio... i look like absolute shit... all that muscle i gained is gone, and i'm still fucking fat. so i've decided to just take it easy, go back to 3000 cals, stop the cardio, and just fucking lift weights and see what happens. My goals is to go back up to 97-98 KG without gaining fat, and hopefully get leaner in the process... In general, i feel like absolute shit and dread looking at the mirror.
anyway, i'm planning on a little trip for my wife for our 4th anniversary... yup, it's been 4 years bitches. i'll tell you all about it when i get back ;)
for now, i'll just go train after i got another throat infection, and busted my neck again... this shit sucks...

Man, I just started my cardio regiment and I must say....I HATE CARDIO! All that muscle you earn just eats itself away. I too keep seeing myself as a fat slob but my lady right here keeps saying I'm a sexy beast....beast is the right word hahahha. I think I just need to boost my stamina part and try to do as much lifting as possible but extremely fast and not rest between sets. Word of advice! DON'T SCREW UP YOUR ROTATOR CUFF! Not being able to put up 100lb dumbells is very depressing!
dude!! you don't need that whole "less rest between sets" crap... tell me, what would require more effort (calories) for your body to execute:
1- lifting 100 lbs for 10 reps
or
2- lifting 60 lbs for 12 reps
??
ofcourse, the former... when you rest more, you regain strength.. more strength means more muscle fiber recruitment, and less CNS involvment.... burn more calories without the rist of overtraining (losing muscle). rest as long as you want between sets (until you catch your breath and heart rate goes back)... that whole less rest crap will strain your nervous system and will cause you to overtrain.
and just some advice... low intensity on the cardio bro... losing fat means macronutrient balance and some form of low intensity cardio to help burn fat without straining the nervous system and minimal muscle loss...
endurance and size don't go well together.
ever seen a huge dude walk up one flight of stairs? why do you think he gasps for air?
you can email me and we could talk abou tit in further detail... have fun buddy
oh, and abou tthe rotator cuff... i've had that problem for 3 years now... there's a way around it ;)
always remember, pull your shoulder blades back and let them rest on the bench and not hang off it when you're pressing.
