Dem hungry… :(

Well, I went back to my “carb cycling” diet, and upped the intensity on my cardio. With every passing day, I lose more water and I look more defined. But my lower back fat is not fucking moving at all… I’m cursed with this shit… I’d much rather have the fat on my lower abs than on my lower back. Makes me look like I’m wearing a damn tire. Anyway, I’ve posted my diet before, scroll down if you wanna know what it is. My weight was 94 kg Saturday morning. And this morning it was 91 kg. I’m expecting 89 kg by Wednesday morning then back up to 93 or 94 on Saturday and so on and so forth. What’s killing me right now is that I’m so fucking hungry it’s not even funny. All I think about is fried chicken, mashed potatoes, and cake… oh, nutella and ice cream aren’t optional with this meal, they’re mandatory! LOL! I guess I know where I’m going this Thursday :) … anyway, I’ve stopped cheating whenever I felt hungry (that’s what I did in the first 6 weeks of dieting… it’s my 8th week right now) cuz I need to tighten up.

Anti-Doping

The “shabab” (under 21) competition is this Thursday, and ours is supposed to be the next. I heard some bad news from a guy in the gym saying that he read the news paper and they said that they’re calling for a meeting with the teams and are planning to penalize all the competitors who signed up but didn’t compete and impose a 2 year ban on them. I called the coach yesterday and he said that when they were called up, they said that the competitors didn’t compete because there was no prize money and we had promised them that there would be. I don’t think the committee bought it, but there’s nothing they can do if they don’t have proof that this wasn’t the reason. SOOOOOOOOOOOOooooo… the coach said that he’d see if anti-doping shows up again in the shabab competition. If they do, that means they’ll show up in our competition and there’s no point in going. If they show up, I’m quitting the season.

I haz a plan

Ever heard of Vince Gironda? I’ve read a lot of his books and the guy seems clinically insane. If you ever read about him, his attitude, training methods, hitting people with a stick like a crazy old man, and his diets you’d laugh your ass off! Anyway, his methods were so amusing and so ancient (breakthrough at the time… he was way ahead of his time in his logic) that it made me wonder why no one is trying this shit or has tried it in the past 2 billion years. The concepts seem sane… but the application is insane. So, I decided that once I get down to sub 6% fat, I’d try some of his “mass gaining” methods just to give him a chance and to give impossible a chance to be possible.

Ok, so the training is nothing to brag about… and it’s actually something I’m totally against since I’m a low volume kind of guy. It’s an 8x8 system (this is just ONE of his many training methods. His logic is to basically not have one training method and make it a standard. Keep changing up in a psycho kind of way). The 8x8 system is basically high volume, where you choose 3 exercise per muscle (or 4) and do 8 sets of 8 reps of each exercise with a rest period of 15-30 seconds. Of course, you can’t do any ego training with this crap. You have to use some light weights but make it feel like you’re lifting the African continent. So, training 3 days per week, 2 to 3 muscles per day, that’s around 72 sets per workout. Pretty far away from my normal 9 sets.

That’s not the crazy part… that’s fucking normal… the diet is where it gets fucked up.
Now, I’m either gonna have stomach issues, severe diarrhea, salmonella, a heart attack… or it could be great since I respond better to lower carbs and higher fats…
Again, I haven’t tried high fats, high protein, and low carb to bulk… I only used it in a deficit…
The diet will be as follows

A mixture of the following should be consumed as meal 2 and meal 4

12 whole eggs (uncooked. I’ll boil them for 3 minutes to make sure I kill off any salmonella in the shells. The salmonella in the yolk… well, the chances of getting that from raw eggs is the same as getting them from eggs sunny side up)
6 scoops whey
300 ml vetal milk
300 ml heavy whipping cream
2 bananas
other shit that has no calories to make it taste better (cinnamon, splenda, vanilla)
this whole mix has
240 grams of protein, 66 grams of carbs, and 152 grams of fat

Meal 1, 3, and 5 are the following

200 grams lean ground beef, 100 grams cottage cheese, 2 slices toast, veggies

The total for this shit is
420 grams of protein, 138 grams of carbs, and 197 grams of fat
Close to 4000 cals…

This is only to be done 5 days per week

On Monday and Thursday it’s a carb loading day. Around 800-1000 grams of carbs will be consumed (that’s not what gironda advises. He just has one carb up meal every 2-3 (or 4) days of pasta).

I will only be doing this for 4 weeks, then go back to my regular diet. I don’t think that’s enough time to gain a ton of fat. But with the calorie restriction I’m in now, it’ll probably help me gain a lot of muscle. Or get a heart attack. (I don’t know why I’m worried about that when most people consume upward of 150 grams of fat per day with 300-400 grams of carbs easy, and no protein)

I might bail on this plan later on. I don’t know. But now I have an open mind and am willing to try this crap since it hasn’t been done in a while. So, we’ll see. And I don’t know why, but I have a feeling that this egg, protein, cream, milk, and banana mix will taste real fucking good. It’ll probably taste like vomit knowing my luck.

  1. raw eggs? fuck that! but when i do bulk up i do eat a dozen eggs for breakfast and a shit ton of oats. now the 6 scoops of whey? is that i.e. 24g per scoop or what? well good luck with that shit, hahahha..literally! haha

  2. remember, i'm not just guzzling down the raw eggs... there's a lot of other things involved that could make it taste better (it'll turn out to be like a pudding. with all the splenda, cream, and flavoring in the protien powder, i'd assume it'll taste kinda good). and yes, those scoops have 24 gr each.
    and they're whole eggs, not just egg whites. egg whites alone would probably taste like snot. and i'm not into eating them without the yolks (nutrition and taste wise). the yolks have that sweet taste. well, i guess i won't know unless i try... LOL... hope i don't die or something.

  3. This stupid anti drug BS!!!! If you guys all refuse to get on stage I really dont think they can ban everyone!!! who will compete then!! Dumb asses :S

    That Vince Gironda shit sounds strange!! I would be surprised if it gives you better results!! Dont forget the food is insane so you might want to try his way then experiment using ur diet with his workout and then his diet with your workout!! just a thought

    Oh and I love raw eggs with milk. Doesnt taste bad to me! Adding banana to it sounds even better! I'll try that mix for the sake of checking

    a new trainer at the 3rd street gym (forgot his name, but he's a big guy) told me that they are planning on shutting down the whole saudi bodybuilding and weight lifting federation if this shit keeps on happening... good riddens to bad rubbish! LOL!

    and about the vince gironda shit... strangely enough, i just heard about a new study from the NIH (national institute of health) where they measured muscle insulin sensitivity in people who were low carbing and exercising. they found that insulin sensitivity is enormously higher the next day. maybe vince was on to something here but he needs a little tweaking.
    and since you're in the states, and you have access to pasteurized whole eggs and shit... i would suggest you mix milk, eggs, and casein protein with a banana and some splenda... fucking pudding bro!!! LOL!!! it's like fucking cheating without cheating...
