IT'S OVER!!! YEAH BUDDY!!! (Cont.)

7:30 pm

we were all outside the arena taking pictures and crap. some of the guys left, and others just waited with me to know how i placed. All the other weight classes were done at around 8:40 pm. Time to go on stage again!

8:45 pm

Again, a judge came in the locker room and yelled "75 KG... ON STAGE NOW!" we all rushed to the stage and started posing again like idiots. then the judges called up the top 6 (out of 8). we were all lined up and... to tell you the truth, i was expecting to hear my name first, placing 6th, 5th at best. They called out 6th place, and it wasn't me. i cracked a little smile. they then called out 5th place... wasn't me. smile got bigger......... 4th place.... :) Pretty good for a natural bodybuilder's first contest. I knew who 1st and 2nd place were (it was pretty obvious really), but i never got a good look at 3rd. Oh, you remember the guy i was talking about at the 75 KG class of the junior division in recent posts? the one on roids that has veins sticking outta his thighs? apparently, if you get first place in the junior division, you have the right to compete in the first class division. The guy took 1st place again. we looked like munchkins next to him :)

Nonetheless, i can't publish this post without thanking some people...

First, i'd like to thank my fiance for being there for me all the way, and supporting everything i do (seriously, try telling your fiance that you're gonna step on stage wearing a freakin' thong in front of more than 200 people).

I'd like to thank jawad for putting up with all my crap and helping me out with my supplements. I couldn't have done any of this without you bro. Oh oh, and going through what only a true friend would do... applying my contest color ;)

And a very special thanks to Ali... dude... even a deaf guy could hear you cheering last thursday :) .. thanks man... i really needed it

and a special thanks to all my friends who supported (and made fun) of me throughout the whole thing.

After watching the video of the contest

WTF!!??? i thought third place was supposed to be between me and vanila ice!! (the dude had the same haircut, he got 5th). You should've seen the piece of crap that took 3rd!! his abs were'nt even showing!! Thanks faisal, for filming his coach having a 2 minute talk with the judges. it explains a lot. seriously people, i'm not a sore loser, but this is rediculous. i'm very happy with 4th place, but to lose to someone who looks like that is just WRONG! i guess was6a is everywhere, even in bodybuilding competitions.
