Cheat meals
People usually don't understand the concept of cheating on your diet. it's more psychological than physiological. Yeah, sure you can say "it revs up your metabolism... blah blah blah" but so does eating the same diet but multiplying the calories by 1.5 or 2. The whole point is to eat everything you were craving that week, until you get sick of it. For example, my cheat day this week:
breakfast
12 chocolate chip pancakes (more like crepes) drenched in caramel sauce
4 eggs and 3 eggwhites with cheddar cheese
chocolate milk
Snack
2 large scoops of baskin robbins ice cream with hot fudge and caramel, a couple of chocolate bars
Lunch
big mac meal with a double cheeseburger from Mc D's
Snack
2 large scoops of ice cream again with hot fudge and caramel
Dinner
A friend invited me to dinner... had a lot of BBQ'd beef, chicken, some shrimps, lazagnia, humos with bread, chocolate cake, knafa... etc
Earlier in the day, i made a chocolate hazelnut pizza (cooked a pizza crust, emptied a jar of nutella on top, some chocolate chips and some white chocolate, back in the oven, then covered it up with a lot of caramel... and i ate it the next day
I would consider this day as a "conservative" cheat day. last time i was in bahrain, i got some Mc D's for lunch, then ate a large order of ice cream with a lot of crap toppings from the marble slab creamery, went to the movies and ate nachos and Icee, then after the movie i went back to the marble slab creamery and got another large order of ice cream... this was all within a 3 hour period... multiply that by 3 or 4 and you have a good cheat day...
Why do i say this? some retards think a cheat day is "i'll take two licks off of a kit kat bar and get back on the day"... those same people are the obese dumbasses who can't stay on a diet for more than 10 days then quit and say "I tried every diet out there... nothing works!"
Current progress
Weighed myself on thursday morning... was 191 lbs... dropped a lot of weight that week... i started the week off at 196 lbs... mostly water weight and a ton of fat... i noticed that drinking more water that week caused me to lose a lot of water in a bad way. i felt dehydrated and weak. pump at the gym wasn't so good. was drinking between 1.5-2 gallons per day of pure water. anyway, after the 1.5 cheat days i had, i'm back up to 195 lbs and leaner than last week.
My waist is a bit under teh 32" mark, but due to the added carbs, i'm holding a bit of water in my gut. my arms are 1/2" bigger than they were last year when i wasn't even this lean... meaning i kick ass :P ... Usually, every two weeks i show the trainers at the gym my progress, and they are now trying to convince me to compete in high level competitions, which i immediately disgarded. I still need a lot of work to compete in those contests, and i told myself that i will compete when i'm thirty.
The plan
I am currently 4 weeks out now... I will continue doing what i'm doing until i'm 2 weeks out. then i'll drop all my carbs, keep fat low and keep protein moderate to high... even if the calories are low. i will do this for 9 days... then, i will have my last training and cardio session on the sunday before the contest. on monday, i will start shitloading while drinking 1-1.5 gallons of fluid. tuesday, i will drop my carbs to 200 grams, keep my fluid intake the same, and keep protein moderate at 250-300 grams. Wednesday i will keep it the same and then have my last gulp of water before i go to bed (i'll probably drink a big 1.5 liter bottle of water before i sleep)... thursday morning, i will eat food that is high in sodium (basically junk from McDonald's) and keep the portions very small to avoid abdominal distention. my only fluid will be 600 ml of water mixed with 3-4 tbsp glycerin. I don't feel like tanning, because basically i can't! sun's not strong enough. and i don't want to paint myself cuz the shit makes me orange for 2 weeks after the contest. So, i decided to use dreamtan again (i hate that shit) because i have to look darker onstage (really... i looked like i had jaundice last time when i was on stage... the lights are too fucking bright and i looked yellow without applying any fake tan or shit)... I'll apply it about 1 hour before stepping on stage to give it time to dry and soak in. when the 80kg category hit the stage, i'll start pumping up and spraying some of that hotstuff crap that makes jawad red and itchy (LOL!)...
I don't expect to be shredded for this contest, but i will be the leanest and biggest i've ever been on stage. I'll post pictures 2 weeks out so you can see the progress.

Glad to hear that you truly blow it out on the cheat day. I never heard any bodybuilders talk about this.
you should know that 99% of what bodybuilders say they do is plain old bullshit.
go on any website and check out any routine, diet, supplement program, whatever that's copied and pasted all over the net and that's what "we" say "we" do... it's a convenient lie that we find by googling shit.
