Anyway,
why is yoga becoming such a big deal these days? really, in the past like 6 months, it kinda boomed! just another retarded fad to trick women into shilling out cash and waste their fucking time.
if you want my opinion (which is basically why you came to this blog), if you do yoga for meditation purposes and relieve stress, good for you. if you do yoga because you want to "tone your body, elongate your muscles, become more flexible, lose weight", you are a complete and total retard and are just too fucking lazy to do shit. I had this debate with another girl once and she told me that yoga does make you tired and make you sweat... my answer?
1- if it makes you tired and makes you sweat, how the fuck is it used for meditation, clearing your mind, and relieving stress?
2- if you sweat from yoga, you're way fucking out of shape. you're probably the same kind of person that breaths heavy when you eat, because lifting a fork is fucking tiring for you.

Yoga - good. It was a great complement to the running, weights, and volleyball. I did them all in combo for five years, and I was in pretty good shape.
The NYT did a couple articles on love/dating in the KSA this week. Parts of the articles called this blog to mind -- exercise, how men treat women, etc.

knowing retarded kids these days, they do everything stoned... When i was in abqaiq, there was this retard who always came to work stoned... the general rule of thumb was "if you see the guy, fucking run! cuz if he starts talking, he's never gonna shut up"... was a huge pain in the ass.

If by "compliment" you meant helping you relax after a long day's work, and after a hard workout. ok... but if you mean compliment as in it worked synergistically with the other forms of "real" exercise, i beg to defer.
look at it this way:
if i jog, weight train, diet, play soccer, play basket ball, tennis, run marathons, eat junk on the weekends, and smoke a pack a day of cigarettes and lost a shit ton of weight and gained some muscle.... can i say, the cigarettes and cheat meals really complimented the other things i did?
did they help me relax? Yes... did they contribute to my results? no.
and that was a nice article... didn't read it all, just skimmed through it, but will read it when i have time. like, in 5 minutes :) ... but come on... tell me something i don't know ;)
I sense sarcasm in that answer. Coming to think of it that question must have been posted by someone when they were stoned.
I dont understand the hatred towards potheads, everyone goes through that phase in life and as long as it doesnt become a habit I dont see the problem. Now Im not saying it is good for health but it is definitely A LOT BETTER than smoking cigarettes and drinking alcohol (stuff that has been legalized by governments)
Anyway, as for yoga, it is only supposed to help relieve stress and improve concentration. In the process due to some of the postures you tend to stretch a bit and over time you get better balance and flexibility. But that is just an added extra, not the reason you would do yoga in the first place.
nothing wrong with smoking pot... although i won't touch that stuff, it's because i don't want to.. just like that... why didn't i buy a red car? i don't want to... why do i smoke cigarettes? i want to! :) ... no hatered towards pot heads at all...
but there's a lot of hatered towards yoga, and fatness over here :)... oh, and pilates too :)
