MTV True Life: I'm On Steroids..... What a f***ing joke

has anyone seen this crap? oh my god!!!! This is the dumbest, most insulting program i've ever seen in my life! Is MTV even allowed to do that shit? god... ok, here's the run down. they got 3 idiots on the show, a "fighter", an egotistical maniac, and a homosexual fudge packer. All three of them are on "the juice". the fighter looked like my 13 year old skinny ass brother, and homo looked nothing more than shit, and the ego freak had a decent body with nipples as big as his head (gyno). I laughed my ass off when i saw how they tried to portray these asses as the "typical steroid user". They didn't know how to inject... none of them aspirated when they injected, one of them actually wiped the needle before injecting, NONE OF THEM KNEW WHAT THEY WERE INJECTING!!! and to top it off... none of them even ate decently. If anyone out there trained naturally for two years, with a good diet and training regime (not even strictly) he'd have a better body than all three that were on the show, combined! and you know what really cracked me up? they wanted to show the "mental side of steroids". So, the homo fudge packer tried to take his life by OD'ing on tylenol.... HAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHHAHAHAH... F***ING MORONS!!! this program did nothing but the following:

1- discouraged every natural bodybuilder. (because if steroid users looked like that, natural bodybuilders should look something like dave chapelle)

2- mislead everyone on the effects of steroids. Nowadays, if someone told you that they're gay, you'd probably say "well, look on the bright side, atleast you're not on steroids"

3- most importantly, it pissed me off

and you know what really pissed me off? they brought back the story of that kid that supposidly commited suicide because he was on steroids. what the f*** is that? and his parents are such ass holes! yeah it's sad he killed himself, but it's even worse showing his parents crying and blaming it on steroids!!! the f***ers are crying? oh, yeah, cry now, in front of the cameras. never mind neglecting your son for years and years, not knowing what he does when he's with his friends, knowing how he felt when he got pulled off the baseball team, THEY DIDN'T EVEN KNOW HE WAS ON STEROIDS TIL HE DIED!!! oh, he was a teenager too. blame it on steroids... that's right. you know what? blame it on yourselves you sick excuses for parents. they even went to congress and demanded a ban on supplements in american high schools and what not. they make me sick.

you know what? watch the show. read the reports on this kid. let all that info sink in. then, watch HBOs Real sports "the roid rage". that was the best documentary on steroids ever. on the show, they had doctors, scientists, congressmen, FDA f***ers, athletes, bodybuilders...FREAKIN' EVERYBODY and did intreviews with them. the best of all, is 70 year old bob who's been using steroids for over 40 years and has NO HEALTH PROBLEMS WHAT SO EVER. and he doesn't only say that. he shows the blood test results. and they got medical journals and ALL THAT GOOD STUFF!!! really, search for it and watch it. i would upload it, but it's around 50 MB. so forget about it. but really, don't miss it.

I'm actually 17, and I agree with you. (i'm not huge by any standards) but after taking Masterdrol, and after PCT and break I took superdrol, along with high protein, low fat diet, and cardio, I have put on about 10 lbs of lean muscle, my bench has gone up 40 lbs, and I'm not depressed. I wouldnt kill myself... my blood has been tested and is fine, along with my liver.

MTV can suck a dick.

why the hell would you say that to him? he's old enough to make his own decisions. but still, 17 years old is too young for steroids or prohormones. you probably did the tests and all came out fine, but please tell me that your free and bound testosterone levels are in normal range 8 weeks after this cycle?
you have to test for LH, FSH, sperm count... and you have to get x-rays of your growth plates before starting any of this.
lets just hope that nothing bad happened to you and it's a lesson learned. the main reason behind infertility from steroids is starting at a very young age (under 21). even though you THINK you're done with puberty, you aren't. your testes are still developing, and if you use these substances, they will halt and your testes will be underdevoloped which could cause infertility or even worse, testicular cancer. as for the growth plates, if you use these substances at a young age, before your growth plates close up, you'll risk some serious damage when you're older. remember, these decisions don't only affect you, they affect everyone around you. what if you have a job in 10 years that requires serious labor, and your growth plates didn't close properly and you get a permanent injury that could leave you paralyzed? what if you had a family that time and you were the only provider? think about life long term... not 10 lbs of muscle when you're 17? is 10 lbs really worth ruining your life for?
besides, at 17, you have the poteintial to build an ass load of muscle if your diet and training are spot on. remember, easy gains mean easy losses.

Best steroid documentary I've seen is the one on Real Sports with Bryant Gumbel. It portrays the true about responsible anabolic steroid users and discredits all the bullshit propaganda out there. I think everyone should be required to watch it.

Despite all the outrage portrayed by the original poster, his diatribe about balanced representation and informed reporting is heavily undermined by his usage of terms like "homo" and the ever-brilliant "fudge packer".

Not exactly taking the high road on either side of the argument.
