"Sadly I have gone through 5 years of college for Dietetics and have learned way more through bodybuilding and my own research than I have in any of my classes. One of my teachers used to argue and argue with me on subjects pertaining to athletics and she is a RD LD and Sports dietitian and she is really biased toward certain things. She is one of the head of the depatments we hate each other because I made an obese comment: saying that she shouldnt be giving dieting advice to elite athletes when she is obese. LOL bitch hates me. THEN karma hit. She was hired on as the Sports dietitian for our College football team (OSU), 1 month later FIRED because she didnt know her shit and none of the players would listen to her because she was obese. LOL then the players came to me for advice. funny shit

THANK U for posting this...I kept telling those around me that school college or whatever is only a tool...u can get a degree in a subject but you are a total dumb ass when it comes to the real deal...college only gives you tools and hints but doesnt make u a master on the stuff u study...
ReplyDeleteif u dont go research on your own and read outside college text books I garantee u that you will have a degree that is worth NOTHING and I know A LOT of people like that and I'm not embarrased to say that I'm one of them...I have a BS, LOL, in Chemical Engineering and I'm a total dumb ass when it comes to hard core chemical engineering...I have an excellent engineering basics and ways of thinking but never considered myself a real chemical engineer...besides that I hated it to the bone :p
I was just good enough to get the degree and graduate from college and that was no problem at all.
your passion is your drive...u dont need someone to tell u what's right and wrong because all the studies and researches are out there for u to read...

one of the best rig foremen we have in the company was actually a cook on the rig. he was a cook for 15 years there and kept taking notes of everything that happened and asked a lot of intelligent questions... they made an exception for him after seeing how good he was (he only had a junior highschool degree) and they made him a rig foreman. ofcourse, this was a long time ago... when college degrees were as rare as bikini models in this country.
